Standard delivery

Card

After the bank has registered your order, the Isabel SmartCard is sent to the headquarters of your bank. They will forward the card to the address of the bank agency you filled in on the card order form. The card delivery takes up to 5 business days.

PIN

The PIN is delivered by post to the delivery address you filled in on the card order form.

If ING is your RA bank, the card and PIN are sent directly to the “Delivery address of the Customer” filled in by you on the card order form.

Direct Card Delivery

Card

You receive the card by post at the delivery address you filled in on the card order form. The card delivery takes up to 5 business days.

PIN

The instructions on how to retrieve the PIN and activate your card, are explained on the letter enclosed with the SmartCard. Make sure you have your Belgian eID (and its corresponding PIN) with you as you will need it to retrieve the temporary PIN.

Important: selecting DCD does not guarantee your bank will use this flow. The bank may rely on the standard delivery instead.

Urgent delivery (approx. 350€ )

Card

Within 2 business days after your order is registered by your bank, your card will be sent to the bank agency address filled in on the order form.

PIN

The PIN will be sent by courier to the delivery address you filled in on the form. A signature is required for reception of the PIN.
