As of November 7th, a verification of the beneficiary’s name will be introduced in Isabel 6 for uploaded payment files coming from an accounting package or ERP system. How will this work in practice? On 9 October 2025, we introduced the “beneficiary name verification” for all manual SEPA transfers in Isabel 6. This verification alerts you if the beneficiary's name and account number do not match. It gives you more confidence and assurance that your money is transferred to the correct beneficiary, increases efficiency and helps combat certain types of transfer fraud.
