Description:

When you try to log in to Isabel 6, you receive this error:

"The Isabel 6 software cannot be accessed if JavaScript is disabled."

Resolution:

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the gear in the upper-right corner of the screen, then select Internet options. If you have the Menu Bar enabled, you can select Tools > Internet options.
  2. Go to the tab Security.
  3. Select the zone Trusted sites and click on the button Custom level ...
  4. Under Scripting, enable the option Active scripting.
  5. Click on OK.
  6. Try to log in again to Isabel 6.

Safari

  1. Click Safari in the menu bar in the top left corner and select Preferences...
  2. Go to the tab Security.
  3. Under Web content, enable the option Enable JavaScript.
  4. Close the Preferences window.
  5. Try to log in again to Isabel 6.

Chrome

  1. Click Morelocated in the top-right corner and select Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Advanced.
  3. Under Privacy and security, click Site Settings.
  4. Click on JavaScript.
  5. Click on the slider next to Blocked so the setting changes to Allowed (recommended).
  6. Close the Settings tab.
  7. Try to log in again to Isabel 6.

Firefox

  1. In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.
  2. If a warning is shown, click on I accept the risk!
  3. In the Search field, type javascript.
  4. Right-click on the option javascript.enabled and select Toggle, the value for this option will now change from false to true.
  5. Close the about:config tab.
  6. Try to log in again to Isabel 6.
