Description:

You get the message: "WRONG PIN" on the Isabel card reader display after entering a wrong PIN.

Resolution:

After about 10 seconds you will get a new chance to enter your PIN correctly. Please wait until the Isabel card readers' display shows ENTER PIN to enter your PIN correctly.

Note: Your Isabel SmartCard will be blocked when successively entering the wrong PIN code 5 times (regardless of the time between the succesive attempts). Once it is blocked, you need to order a new Isabel SmartCard.

  Attention
  • To ensure your security, even Isabel does not know your PIN and can not reset your PIN or reactivate your Isabel SmartCard when it is blocked. In this case you will have to order a new Isabel SmartCard.
  • Your PIN is personal, Isabel will never ask for your PIN.
