Isabel, the biggest service provider of internet banking for professional users in Belgium, has taken care of the design of its payment platform thoroughly. With these innovations, Isabel strives for a bigger user friendliness and an optimal customer experience. The new version of the platform will be available for all customers between 18 and 25 October.

Isabel SA is ready to embark upon a new phase of its existence. After more than sixteen years of business as a pioneer, including substantial growth and the deployment of considerable means, the company now wants to maximize its investments and to focus more on excellence as well as on the security of its transactions. The Board of Directors would like as of now to thank Philippe R. Dubois, the current CEO and Founder, most cordially for his decisive contribution to Isabel’s development. In view of this new positioning, Luc Neysens, current COO of the company is appointed as from 1 December at the position of CEO.

A survey conducted by iVox on behalf of Isabel shows that Belgians receive 4,6 invoices per month as an average. For 75% of Belgians, paper bank transfer form is pure paper waste. Even if 75% of private individuals are using PC-Banking they still find that the payment process is time-consuming (available in French and Dutch only)

The ultimate objective of this partnership is to extend Isabel's reach by allowing corporates to access the more than 9,500 financial institutions in 209 countries, which connect to SWIFT's network.

A market study - executed by iVox – and called "The Isabel Business Banking Barometer" demonstrates that the bank crisis did not bring substantial changes in the way companies "do banking".

The accounting packages integrate the button Isabel Go in order to avoid any superfluous administrative work

The crisis obliges the companies to reinforce the financial check of their flows and to improve their position in liquidities. According to a study, the financial and administrative assistants need every week until 4 hours in average to encode bank data. The EU launched a market consultation to collect feedback from the companies on the recommendations from the Expert Group eInvoicing. Isabel did translate the overview of the recommendations and the questions of the consultation. Companies can react on line.

For more than 1 consumer on 2, the delays of payment is explained by the laziness, the documents loss, the boring payment processes and other priorities.
More than the half consider that to receive and pay invoices through Zoomit in their familar internet banking application is quick and easy. Positive impact on the environment constitutes another incentive.

The insured persons soon will be able to use their Internet banking application and Zoomit to pay their incoming insurance premiums to due date.
The insurance companies in Belgium send every year 12 millions of paper documents to their customers.
Using Zoomit will simplify the life to the insured persons, but will also allow to avoid processing costs and to preserve the environment.

Isabel and the Institute of the Accountants and fiscal Counsels (IEC-IAB) launch the standard Finvoice (FINancial inVOICE) regarding to throw
a bridge between electronic bill and accountant. The practice shows in fact that the electronic invoice has no luck to be accepted
without the support of the accountants.

A recent study has provided details of how the combined use of Isabel e-banking software and an accounting application can enable businesses to save time and money. With an average of 145.97 seconds saved per transaction, a small company can save ½ a day of data entry per month. And a large corporation can cut out up to 5 days of keying in each month.

27/09/2006  -  Eight Luxembourg Banks Will Deploy Isabel’s New International Banking Platform

Isabel has just taken a major step in terms of business development. Belgian supplier of multi-bank solutions for more than ten years, Isabel has now launched its services on the international market. Indeed, the company has just signed a contract selling the licence of its brand-new international banking platform to a Luxembourg consortium, EBIS (Electronic Banking and Information System).
The latter includes eight of the main banks established within Luxembourg’s financial area, namely: Banque de Luxembourg ; Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat, Luxembourg ; Banque Raiffeisen ; Dexia Banque Internationale à Luxembourg ; l’Entreprise des P&T ;  Fortis Banque Luxembourg ; ING and la Société Générale Bank & Trust.


21/06/2006  -  Electronic Invoices For 3 Million Internet Banking Users

Customers who today carry out their financial transactions via an on-line banking service (Internet Banking) can from now on benefit from this electronic channel to access their invoices and other financial documents relating to their transactions. In July, the pilot phase of this new Zoomit application will begin at KBC and Dexia.
