Downloading this patch will improve some functionalities in your Isabel Business Suite 5.01 software:
From now on you can create envelopes with amounts exceeding 2.5 billion.
The amount and date displayed in the pop-up window when creating a foreign payment have been changed to 50,000 EUR instead of 12, 500 EUR and to 1/1/2006 instead of 01/07/2003.
The IsaSign summary generator will no longer cause problems.
Specific information for the Belgian Luxemburg Exchange Institute (BLEI) is not needed anymore.
Problems with BMF control messages have been solved (support of UNA segment with different character sets).
The Data Reorganisation will work smoother for subscriptions with large Isabel databases.
All improvements in patches 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are also included in this patch:
Improved recognition of IBAN format for cross-border payments.
From July 1 2005 onwards it is strongly recommended to use only the IBAN format for your Luxemburg beneficiary accounts and no longer the Basic Bank Account Number. The software has been adapted accordingly.
The logos of Ethias Bank and Record Bank have been added in the Isabel software.
The reference "Network Identification" of the Sent Messages is also mentioned on the printout of these files.
All details of a credit note received with Isabel eInvoice can now be correctly displayed and printed.
Even not certified users will automatically be added to the user list of the concerned subscription. Once these new users are certified, their certificate will be detected when refreshing the certificates of the subscription.

Controlling separate signatures related to IEF files
If ALL users of your subscription are using a Secure Signing Card (gray chip card with a world picture), the bank may find it difficult to process signature files (with .IEF extension) containing payments created with Isabel Business Suite 5.01 and signed with the IsaSign module - but only if the signatures of the representatives are sent separately to the executing bank.
Improved details on signature files (.ief) with IsaSign
When several foreign payments are included in the same signature file (.ief), the various transfer messages concerning these payments will now be displayed correctly. In addition the SWIFT codes will also be displayed correctly when there are several foreign payments.
Improved search method for finding beneficiaries in foreign payments
The search method for finding beneficiaries by means of aliases in foreign payments has been improved.
You don't need to enter BLEI codes for Belgian account numbers any more After installation of this patch, you don't need to enter BLEI codes any more even when the beneficiary has a Belgian account number. Improved amount controls on BLEI validations are also added.
Automatic replacement certificate when an Isabel certificate expires This patch eliminates the "No valid certificate for user 500"... error message that sometimes used to appear when you had not used Isabel for a while. Any expired Isabel certificate will be replaced automatically. This modification only applies to users who connect with Isabel using an Internet connection.
Enhanced reorganisation module
The "Reorganise data" program is located in your Isabel Control Panel (Isabel Configuration screen). This component has now been improved.
The constant spread of spyware has made Windows platforms susceptible to system and application crashes. And in turn, these crashes can cause data to be corrupted. The "Please Wait" message in the Isabel software that does not disappear when you put an envelope in the Outbox, is a typical result of corrupt data. The new reorganisation module removes this corrupt data, but however may not get rid of other causes of crashes (in particular spyware, buggy printer drivers, etc.). This can be achieved by installing anti-spyware software [hyperlink] or the most recent printer drivers.
The "Field index out of range" error message that sometimes used to appear when there was a lot of account information for one or more accounts will now effectively be solved by a reorganisation.
Countries not supporting IBAN codes can be used from now as a free format. The account number entered is no longer automatically converted into the IBAN format.
If you want to print out an electronic invoice with the Isabel eInvoice module, you can select another printer than the default printer defined in Windows operating system.
In the beneficiaries list, it is now possible to enter a Belgian 10-digit unique identification number.
The Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria logo has been added to the software since this bank has recently joined the Isabel platform. It will appear in the Account Info that BBVA may send you via Isabel
Installation procedure:
1. First close Isabel Business Suite 5.01 and your connection to the Isabel network.
2. Download this .exe file locally (on your desktop for example) and double-click to start the program.
Beware! After installation of this patch, a reorganisation will be carried out automatically for each user with a mailbox starting up Isabel for the first time.
