What makes WinBooks so exclusive…
 |
The WinBooks program represents an amazing cocktail of experience, skills and technological innovations. The software is the fruit of significant start-up investment in research and development implemented by a team of commercial engineers and IT specialists put together by Pierre de Preter. It’s a 20-year success story in the development of accountancy software.
WinBooks has rapidly won over SMEs, hundreds of self-employed workers, accountancy specialists and non-profit organisations. In fact, WinBooks features the latest Windows software tools and has a whole host of innovations to offer users: the program handles accounting in real-time, with audit/data entry amendment capabilities (no more fog surrounding data entry as there is in conventional solutions and no more stress during the entry process: you can always make corrections before final authentication), full Internet integration, backup monitoring and integrated compression, as well as exports to Excel and encryption to ensure files remain confidential, etc.
Over time, numerous other modules have been added on to the package’s accountancy capabilities: banking links, international transfers and the recovery of CODA files, analytical accounting, Office API, invoicing, subscriptions, Intrastat, management of fixed assets, all-inclusive accountancy and the recovery of accounting files.
The client/server module enhances the way the network performs in terms of speed and capacity, as well as stability. It also suits demanding users in terms of the number of workstations possible and network performance.

WinBooks Logistics
Amazingly comprehensive (invoicing, stock, orders, point of sale, management of sizes and colours, manufacturing, etc.), the WinBooks "commercial management" solution is very easy to adapt to the specific needs of customers thanks to its exclusive plug-in technology. Plug-ins are additional modules written for specific applications. Other features include the benefits of a standard package, as well as customisation at a very low cost.
E-WinBooks
The ASP model is an attractive choice for managing accounts, providing synchronised access to the same file from two different locations, such as with a tax expert and his client, or two sites in the same company. So say goodbye to sending entries back and forth by e-mail or making trips between accountant and client. To ensure data remains confidential, the SP version of WinBooks handles the full encryption of the database. SBB,
Belgium
’s largest Dutch-language tax experts (250 staff in thirty offices, servicing some 15,000 clients), is currently using our software in ASP mode for all of its staff and clients.
Virtual Invoice
WinBooks is the first to present an exclusive system that makes it possible to automate the entry of supplier invoices into the accounts by scanning them in advance and using OCR technology to recognise the areas needed for data entry. The scanned invoices then automatically generate their own entry in the accounts. The benefits of using this method are obvious: lower data entry costs and availability of the scanned documents via ASP, as well as an option to save the scanned item as an attachment to the book entry and instant viewing of supplier histories via the import screen.
