The ASP model is an attractive choice for managing accounts, providing synchronised access to the same file from two different locations, such as with a tax expert and his client, or two sites in the same company. So say goodbye to sending entries back and forth by e-mail or making trips between accountant and client. To ensure data remains confidential, the SP version of WinBooks handles the full encryption of the database. SBB, Belgium ’s largest Dutch-language tax experts (250 staff in thirty offices, servicing some 15,000 clients), is currently using our software in ASP mode for all of its staff and clients. 

Virtual Invoice

WinBooks is the first to present an exclusive system that makes it possible to automate the entry of supplier invoices into the accounts by scanning them in advance and using OCR technology to recognise the areas needed for data entry. The scanned invoices then automatically generate their own entry in the accounts. The benefits of using this method are obvious: lower data entry costs and availability of the scanned documents via ASP, as well as an option to save the scanned item as an attachment to the book entry and instant viewing of supplier histories via the import screen.
