Using the revocation information Web
service
Isabel OfficeSign 5.0 is part of the Isabel Trust Suite. The Isabel Trust Suite
website provides more information and access to additional online services.
It's available at
http://www.isabel.be/trustsuite/.
On the Isabel Trust Suite website, you can find a manual revocation
check that lets you check the revocation status of any Isabel
certificate.
Open Internet Explorer ( |

), and go to the
Isabel Trust Suite website at
http://www.isabel.be/trustsuite/.
On the Isabel Trust Suite website, click the
Revocation Status Service link.
The
Isabel OfficeSign 5.0 Revocation Status form is
displayed in a new browser window.
Enter the serial number of the certificate of which you would
like to check the revocation status.

Isabel uses this test to verify that you are an actual person
who is trying to get revocation information about a certificate. |
Click the
Verify now button.
The results of the check are displayed in the browser window.
There are two possible cases:
The certificate with the serial number you entered is not
on the Isabel certificate revocation list. This means that the certificate has
not been revoked by Isabel at the date and time displayed in the window.

The fact that the certificate has not been revoked by
Isabel, does not necessarily mean that it's valid. To ensure the validity of
the certificate, you also need to verify that the certificate was in fact
issued by Isabel and that it has not expired. |
The certificate with the serial number you entered is on
the Isabel certificate revocation list. This means that the certificate has
been revoked by Isabel and is no longer valid.
Click the
Close button to close the window.
