For example, transfers to pay for our operating costs are prepared electronically by an administrative employee; I then check them and send them on to the bank via Isabel. This means it takes no time at all to do our payments. I can also pick up our account statements electronically via Isabel. Which enables me to check that all of our urgent transactions have been carried out on time. But I save the most time by collecting expense accounts from parents through direct debits. We send an account out to parents each month listing all incidental expenses, such as meals, excursions, etc. At the beginning of the school year, I encourage them to set up a direct debit arrangement for these payments. Which means it is much easier for the school to process the transactions. I also manage these direct debit instructions via Isabel."
